These instructions will make the widget appear on EVERY page within your site. However, this does not necessarily mean that all pages will be protected. You need to indicate which pages and content should be protected on the Paywallz portal.

Step 1

Go to your website and log in.

Step 2

Once logged in, click Manage.

Make sure you are subscribed to a Business plan before proceeding. Other plans do not allow for the addition of plugins.

Step 3

In the left side menu, scroll down to Plugins and click Add.

Step 4

After clicking on Add, a search box will appear to the right. In this box, type, "Paywallz" and hit enter (return).

Step 5

Click on the Paywallz logo that appears for your search and then click Install.

After beginning this installation, you may need to be patient for a few minutes.

Step 6

While waiting for the installation to complete, you will see the screen change to indicate that that the Paywallz plugin is being activated.

We're almost there! Just another minute or two.

Step 7

Once the installation and activation are complete, select the Autoupdates toggle button.

This will save you time later as you will now automatically receive new features or other changes we make to the Paywallz plugin in the future.

Step 8

Scroll down a bit and select WP Admin.

This will launch the standard WordPress Admin console that you use for all website administration. It is here that you will be executing the final step.

Step 9

You are now at the last steps - pasting the Paywallz-provided Public Key into the Paywallz plugin.

You can find this public key by logging into; finding your site; and the highlighting and copyng the Public Key from there, as below.

Step 10

Back in the WP Admin console, scroll down in the left side menu and click on Paywallz.

Step 11

In the box titled, "Public Key", paste in the Public Key you just copied from your Paywallz dashboard and then click Use This Key.

That's it!

You're all done. Now you just need to confirm that you did things correctly. Open any browser to view your website and you should see that it now displays a widget that shows the word Share, as below.

You may have your widget show up in an alternate location - to the right or left side or even at the top - depending on how you defined it in the Paywallz portal. If you do NOT see the Share widget, try accessing the page from a new browser. If it still does not appear, please visit the Paywallz support page for troubleshooting tips.  Looking for your Paywallz Code Snippet? You can find it by logging in here.
